Come along to our joint Community Event with Act on Energy!

Here's a brief explanation from Caroline Fortune, Event Coordinator of Act on Energy,

“Our “Step Into The Warmth” events are designed to offer visitors all the winter support they need in one place. Each venue will be zoned to help people easily access the help they need — whether that’s related to health, energy, debt, isolation, or food poverty. The idea is that visitors can take away something useful from each stall, like collecting the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.”

In addition, our local officers will be on hand to:

✅ Answer any questions
✅ Offer advice on community safety and crime prevention
✅ Listen to any concerns you may have about the local area

This is a great opportunity to meet your local policing team and chat in an informal setting, as well as receiving valuable advice for throughout the winter months.

Act On Energy
Act on Energy are hosting an event in which they aim to provide the general public with information on how to stay warm and save energy over the winter months. WMP have been asked to set up a table to host either an impromptu Cuppa with a Copper session or to just provide any information about staying safe. Due to the timing of this event it will be good to promote safety around Halloween and also the legalities around Fireworks.
